Pam Horne
(Sung to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme)
Now this is the story all about me,
and how education became my destiny.
I'd like to take a minute to tell my peers
that I've been teaching for twenty-five years.
In Eastern Carolina born and raised;
In the classroom is where I spend most of my days---
Helping out, teaching, tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays for kids in a bind,
Co-Leader of the 3-5 team for Odyssey of the Mind,
Weekly visits with Stacey Walton, and I open her door,
step inside, and always try to be a helpful mentor.
On the School Leadership Team, I represent Team Third Grade
As grade level chair, working with those ladies... I've had it made!
I have a degree that says Master in School Administration,
and National Board Certification that I'm using to shape the future nation.
If anything, I'd say that teaching is great;
for me, working with children is definitely first-rate!
Now you know more about me today
but I've got one more thing to say,
Blue Creek I'm honored to be here,
and to be nominated for Teacher of the Year!
